The best food going great people all family been there around 35 years will host a group lunch coffee or brithday never had a bad meal in 25 or more years I.ve gone there

This was an excellent dining experience. The waiter was friendly and engaging, he truly went above and beyond to make it a spectacular dining experience. The hostess was polite and friendly. They made conversation easy and natural whilst also being timely in making conversations. The portions are huge and the taste justifies the cost. (Which is not that bad) I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Food was not as hot as it should be and the gravy was actually cool. They offered to mic it for me but I don't like my Turkey microwaved

I have never been more impressed with a restaurant as I have been with the capitol. THE FOOD was amazing. All freshly made. The spanakopita and pea soup was the best I have ever had. I was also impressed with the timing. All 7 of the main dinners for our family arrived together. Considering all the meals are freshly made I find that to be very impressive. Especially for a single chef. My hats off to him.THE PRICES where great. More than fair. For 15 dollars you get a full large entree with garlic toast, mashed potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables and desert. The appys are also very well priced. I highly recomend the spanokapita.THE SERVICE was the best I ever had. Our waiter was extremely personable and polite. He was enthuisiastic and you could tell he took pride in his job and the family business. He was quick as well. I givw the capitol 5 out of 5 Realistically it deserves 10 out of 5. Will definitaly make this a regular outing everytime I come down from the coast.

Good tasting food

I finally went in there for the first time or at least the first time on my own. Very friendly service, tasty food, family run. I ate a very good meal, finished off by arguably the best, most delicious rice pudding I have ever tasted and that started a conversation with the person who had served the food. Rice pudding was something our families have/had in common.

Hardly a greek restaurant. Burgers were cold and not fresh. Pre-caramalized onions that tasted like oil. Waitress offered to take the two burgers that we didnt eat off the price, yet, when we went to pay, the owner, who was taking the bill, was very rude and didn't tell us the price until we paid, nor took the money off the bill that the waitress said we would get. Everyone in the group agreed that burgers were disgusting and half an hour after, were feeling sick. I strongly recommend to not go here, instead go to one of the other restaurants nearby which will be better by far.

Excellent veal cutlets with fried onions just the way I like it. Chef Ted always does a stellar job... The meals here are not only delicious but the portion sizes are extremely generous

Great food great prices friendly service, lots of choices from the menu great lunch specials cozy friendly atmosphere I highly recommend coming here to eat right in the downtown core. I will definitely be coming back here to eat when I'm in Penticton again.!😃👍

Took my elderly parents and my better half there for lunch.. it was an awesome time.. The home made burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked.. My mom had a Turkey dinner plate off the seniors menu and was very pleased.. was actually way too much food.. Our server was great! We couldn't have asked for better service. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food. Their menu includes large entrees of western as well as Greek dishes.. The prices are great as well. A big homemade cheeseburger with fries start at $8.99 !!! You can't beat that prce!Thanks guys for a great meal and experience.. see you soon..

Kitchen was overwhelmed by 3 tables on a Saturday at 12:30. Food for our table of 4 arrived with a 35 minute delay between first and last dish served. Hash browns were made from days old baked potatoes. Many ingredients were not fresh. Disappointing.

Home cooked meals, which is great. However, they had run out of some staples, which was surprising. The family is really nice though and we felt very welcomed there.

Great Home made burgers and wonderful folks they are still going cause you can tell they love it...Just like home to grandma and Grandpas for supper.

This family owned restaurant has been there since I was a kid. I even worked there as a young adult. The food has always been really superb. I have heard it said that their veal cutlets are the best in town. I am a huge fan of the Greek salad with the fried garlic bread. My husband, although not a fan of salads in general, absolutely loved the salad he had there.

Was not satisfied with food, and was told we did not have to pay for what we did not eat. When I went to pay, the owner didn’t tell me how much the bill was and rushed me to get my card. After she had my card, she still didn’t tell me the total of the bill, and put my card in. When we asked what the total was, we noticed the food we didn’t like was not removed from the bill. The owner became incredibly rude and aggressive when we inquired as to why. I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional manner in a restaurant. The waitress told us the food would be removed, and was very accommodating and friendly. We told the owner that the waitress had said it was to be removed, to which the owner responds “she only works here, she doesn’t pay for the food”, which I found to be not only disrespectful to us, but also the waitress.
